⚠️ Allergen & Ingredient Information

This is the most critical information regarding food safety.

Q: Do your products contain allergens? A: Yes. All of our goods are baked in a single, dedicated home kitchen that routinely processes wheat (gluten), eggs, dairy (milk), and various tree nuts (e.g., walnuts, pecans).

Q: Can you guarantee an allergen-free product? A: No. Due to the nature of a home kitchen, we must state that all items may contain trace amounts of major allergens (including milk, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, soy, and wheat) due to the risk of cross-contamination. If you have a severe allergy, please exercise caution when ordering.

📅 Ordering Deadlines & Fulfilment

  • Order Cut-off: To guarantee freshness and allow for proper preparation (especially for our slow-fermented Sourdough!), all orders must be placed and paid for by Tuesday at 5:00 PM (AEDT) for fulfilment the same week. Orders placed after this time will roll over to the following week.

  • Fulfilment Day: All pickups and deliveries occur on Friday.

  • Pickup Times: Fridays, 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM (Exact address provided via order confirmation).

  • Delivery Times: Fridays, 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM (Delivery fees and zone limits apply; see our Delivery page for details).

🍞 Product Shelf Life & Storage

Q: How should I store my Sourdough Bread? A: Our Sourdough is best stored at room temperature, cut-side down, or in a linen bread bag. It will stay fresh for 2-3 days. For longer storage, slice and freeze the loaf.

Q: How long will the Muffins and Scrolls stay fresh? A: Our softer goods are best enjoyed within 1-2 days of pickup. Keep them stored in an airtight container at room temperature. A quick 10-second reheat in the microwave or a few minutes in a low oven brings them back to life!

Q: How should I store the Jams after opening? A: Our homemade jams should be refrigerated after opening and are best consumed within 2-3 weeks.

🛒 Ordering & Custom Requests

Q: Do you offer custom flavours or large catering orders? A: Yes! We happily consider custom requests for special events (like bulk muffin orders or specialized jam flavours).

Q: Can I modify or cancel my order after the deadline? A: Unfortunately, once the Tuesday 5:00 PM deadline passes, all ingredients are purchased and prep work begins. Therefore, we cannot modify or cancel orders after the cut-off time.

Payment & Pricing

Q: What forms of payment do you accept? A: We accept all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Amex) through our secure online checkout. We also accept PayPal. All orders must be prepaid before the Tuesday cut-off deadline.

Q: Are there minimum order requirements? A: Generally, no—you can order a single loaf of Sourdough or a dozen Muffins! However, delivery orders may require a small minimum purchase (please check our [Delivery Page Link] for current details).

Sustainability & Ingredients

Q: Do you use local or organic ingredients? A: We prioritize using the freshest, highest-quality ingredients available. Whenever possible, we source our produce locally (especially for seasonal jams) and strive to use ethically sourced and natural ingredients in all our baking.

Q: What is the Sourdough starter process? A: Our Sourdough is made using a 100% natural, wild yeast starter that is lovingly fed and maintained daily. This slow fermentation process (usually 18–24 hours!) is what creates the unique, complex flavour and airy structure of our loaves.

Ordering Process & Fulfilment

Q: What happens if I miss the Friday pickup window? A: We understand things happen! If you cannot make your scheduled pickup time, please contact us immediately via phone or text. We can often arrange an evening pickup, but we cannot guarantee the freshness of items if pickup is delayed significantly. Items not picked up by Saturday morning are forfeited and cannot be refunded.

Q: Do you offer corporate or bulk gifts? A: Yes! Our Treatz & Goodiez make wonderful gifts for clients, employees, or events. Please email us at [Your Business Email] well in advance (ideally 3-4 weeks) with your desired quantity and date, and we will create a custom package and quote for you.

Q: Can I request a refund if I am not happy with my order? A: We stand by the quality of our home-baked goods! If you encounter an issue with your order, please contact us within 24 hours of receiving it with a description and a photo. We address all concerns on a case-by-case basis to ensure our customers are completely satisfied.
